Gemba-walk hoor ik je denken? Wat is dat dan?
Gemba (現場, oorspronkelijke naam genba) is een Japanse term die "de eigenlijke plaats" betekent.
Een Gemba-walk is 'letterlijk' mee kijken met de mensen van de werkvloer, om te zien hoe het proces bij hen loopt.
Hoe zij 'waarde' creëren!
Maar ook mee kijken naar:
- hoe de werkplek eruit ziet
- hoe wordt er gewerkt
- hoe loopt de communicatie
- hoe wordt er samen gewerkt
- en nog veel meer..
Maar de allerbelangrijkste vraag is, wat en hoe kunnen we het (nog verder)verbeteren?
Naar aanleiding van deze 'walk' maak ik een duidelijk overzicht van de dingen die ik heb waargenomen en gehoord, dit werk ik verder uit met;
- wat er verbeterd kan worden
- wat deze verbeteringen jouw organisatie zal opleveren
